Custom Quests in MHF2

I have successfully gotten a custom quest to load into MHF2! And the good thing is, it isn't hard at all! It works Perfectly! It is so cool. I rather not explain here, rather explain in a chat of some kind...Just felt like saying that I managed to get it working.

I think I found out how to get customs into MHF2. It works for me, I want to find out if it will work for anyone else. First, you decrypt the MHF2 save. Then you rename it to the MHP2 file. Then you edit quest with the editor, it should load in the editor. Then you first put the file into the MHP2 save. Then you take it back out again, rename it to the MHF2 save name and put it back into the MHF2 save. It requires more steps than with MHP2...But atleast it works. Could anyone test to see if it works for them?

Edit, if you cannot decrypt MHF2 here is how: DL this file first.

Then put it in your MS Root>Laboko>Code folder. After that laboko should be able to decrypt it.

Yes, I am going to make a guide. I will just add instructions into my MHP2 quest editing guide...Maybe even update some info about stuff I didn't know at the time and some stuff changed in the editor since then.

*edit* u can also use mhp2_edit for this so u dont have to remake all your quests...seems like common sense but i thought id post it anyways...

I already knew you could use MHP2_EDIT with this, I was just talking to Masterz about it on kai. And I am thinking about changing that old guide, and I probably will update it with all the new info I know now that I didn't know then, and I might include the changes that were in the updated versions. Does this mean you got it working too GM? Also, could you come on kai...

I don't know if I will update the guide...No one seems to care about customs in MHF2.

i care...im looking into getting another psp JUST to make customs....

why get another psp when u can use the one u have?

cuz im not that savvy when it comes to stuff like that...i wouldnt want to ruin my precious slim now...that and i dont know anyone with cfw or where to get the files for the magic stick...or a pandora's battery...if there are ways around this i would love to hear them....and i have sony's 3.73 atm...

there is no way around it to downgrade ur psp, i think there is a way to flash it to 3.71 m33 but u still need a pandoras battery

ok, so i finally made a pandora's battery (hard modded) and i have cfw 3.71m33-4, will i be able to make custom quests with m33-4? and anyone know where i can find an english patch for portable 2nd?
